Kobe offers a captivating introduction to modern Japan with a timeless sense of refinement.

The perfect introduction to Kobe begins with a visit to Japan’s largest herb garden. Enjoy elevated views across the city while wandering through colourful seasonal blooms and fragrant landscapes, offering a tranquil welcome to Kobe.

This evening, celebrate the beginning of your journey with a Kobe beef teppanyaki dinner.

DAY 2 - 11 MAY 2027- GOLF AT ARIMA ROYAL GOLF CLUB

After breakfast, you’ll transfer approximately 50 minutes to Arima Royal Golf Club where you immerse yourself in the unique traditions and etiquette that make golf in Japan so memorable, from arrival through to lunch at the turn and a relaxing Japanese-style spa experience after your round.

In the evening, unwind at your own pace with a selection of curated dining recommendations within walking distance, or join your hosts for dinner and enjoy a relaxed evening sharing stories from the day.

DAY 3 - 12 MAY 2027 - GOLF AT YOMIURI COUNTRY CLUB, MEMBERS COURSE

After breakfast, you’ll transfer approximately 50 minutes to Yomiuri Country Club, where you’ll have the rare privilege of playing by special member invitation.

Enjoy an evening at leisure or join your hosts for dinner and enjoy a relaxed evening in good company, reflecting on the day’s highlights.

DAY 4 - 13 MAY 2027 - GOLF AT GOLDEN VALLEY GOLF CLUB

Today’s transfer takes approximately 75 minutes. Regularly ranked among Japan’s top 10 courses, Golden Valley GC is a true championship venue and a firm favourite within our On The Tee community. It’s the kind of course that demands your best  and leaves you wanting to come back for more.

DAY 5 - 14 MAY 2027 - FULL DAY KYOTO TOUR

Wander through Kyoto and step back in time, where ancient temples, shrines, and palaces offer glimpses into centuries of history. Visit the Golden Pavilion at Kinkaku-ji, stroll through the iconic vermilion torii gates of Fushimi Inari, and explore the serene bamboo groves of Arashiyama, a perfect introduction to Kyoto’s timeless charm.

Return to Kobe in the evening.

Enjoy dinner at one of the hotel’s many dining options, including Japanese, Chinese, or Western cuisine. You are also welcome to join your host for a relaxed evening meal.

DAY 6 - 15 MAY 2027 - AWAJI ISLAND • NARUTO & JAPANESE HOSPITALITY

We check out of The Orient and begin the next leg of our journey, heading to Awaji Island to experience the spectacular Naruto Whirlpools up close.

Tonight, choose between two very different and unforgettable Japanese experiences:

DAY 7 - 16 MAY 2027 - GOLF OUTLET SHOPPING AND SHINKANSEN TO THE FOOTHILLS OF MT FUJI

Refreshed and revitalised after our immersive Zen Spirit of Japan experience, we continue our journey with a few hours to explore Osaka and enjoy some retail therapy, including a selection of golf outlet stores.

We then board the iconic bullet train and settle back as Japan’s scenery unfolds outside the window, travelling through picturesque landscapes towards the foothills of majestic Mount Fuji.

DAY 8 - 17 MAY 2027 - GOLF AT GRAND FIELDS CC AND A KAISEKI DINNER1

Just 20 minutes from Mishima, Grand Fields is a tournament-style course set among beautifully landscaped Japanese gardens. Immaculate fairways, tranquil water features and exceptional conditioning make every hole a pleasure to play. On a clear day, Mt. Fuji provides a spectacular backdrop to your round. During your round, stop at the charming course kiosk for freshly prepared matcha and traditional Japanese snacks.

The garden theme continues with a Kaiseki Dinner in a beautiful Japanese Garden.

DAY 9 - 18 MAY 2027 - GOLF AT SUSONO CC

Susono Country Club is a beautifully presented championship course with spectacular views of Mt. Fuji. The spacious layout winds through mature trees, with water hazards, creeks and strategically placed bunkers adding both character and challenge.

Evening at leisure. You’re always welcome to join Ria and Togano San for dinner. Alternatively, we’d be happy to make a reservation at your choice of your choice.

DAY 10 - 19 MAY 2027 - GOLF AT TAIHEIYO CLUB GOTEMBA WEST

We check-out of the Fujisan Tokyu Hotel after breakfast. En-route to Tokyo we play our sixth and final round of golf at Taiheiyo Club Gotemba West. Set on the lower slopes of Mt. Fuji, Gotemba West makes the most of its beautiful natural surroundings. Mature cedar and cypress trees frame the fairways, while water hazards and dramatic changes in elevation add an extra challenge. The evergreen fairways and highly playable layout make for an enjoyable round. This is our only caddie-free round.

After golf we head to Tokyo, where we check-in to the Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa.

Set in the heart of Tokyo, it offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by a beautiful 20,000m² Japanese garden. Just minutes from Shinagawa Station, the hotel combines the convenience of the city with a distinctly Japanese sense of calm.

DAY 11 - 20 MAY 2027 - ASAKUSA WALKING TOUR AND TEA CEREMONY

Experience the vibrant heart of Tokyo, beginning in Asakusa, where the historic Sensoji Temple and bustling Nakamise Street offer a glimpse into traditional Japan with charming shops, street food, and cultural landmarks. Then step into the world of traditional Japan with an intimate tea ceremony. Learn about the rituals and quiet artistry behind matcha, from its careful preparation to the graceful customs of serving and drinking it.

DAY 12 - 21 MAY 2027 DAY AT LEISURE IN TOKYO
