Tuesday 6 April
Masters Practice Round
Get ready for your first taste of Augusta National today, where we will be able to see the players readying themselves for Thursday’s tournament start. Follow your favourite players and take photos to your heart’s content at this magnificent golf venue. Breakfast, lunch (if desired) and light dinner are available at The Manor hospitality venue, a walk or quick shuttle ride from the course.
Wednesday 8 April
Our first round of golf is today, where we will take the short trip to The Reserve Club. The Reserve Course is a superb Nicklaus design. Upon its completion, the course was named by Golf Digest as one of the Top Ten Best New Private Courses in America in 2003. It has continually been named one of South Carolina’s top courses ever since. The course boasts a beautiful 7,352-yard layout featuring rolling terrain with plush fairways and picturesque vistas. Golfers enjoy a relaxed pace of play around this breathtaking layout – a scene that only a true architect could create. From the first tee shot to the last putt, golfers are mesmerised by the beauty of the layout and thrilled with the playability of the course. No matter your skill level The Reserve Course is a joy to play and keeps you wanting to come back more and more.
Free afternoon and evening tonight.
Thursday 9 April
Today is a free day - you could relax, have a look around the city of Augusta, or play an optional golf round at Sage Valley Golf Club, an exclusive, private, Tom Fazio-designed course.
Activities in Augusta could include: The Augusta Museum of History, which includes exhibits on golf and soul singer James Brown; The Augusta Riverwalk, which runs along the Savannah River; the nearby Morris Museum of Art, dedicated to the art of the American South; the Boyhood Home of President Woodrow Wilson which depicts the early life of the 28th president; and lastly, walking trails that span the length of the 1845 Augusta Canal.
Friday 10 April
Masters 2nd Round
Place your Masters chair on holes 15 and/or 16 and follow the Aussies through Amen corner, as they jockey for a position on the famous leaderboard. Another great spot is at the back of the 2nd green, where you have a view of second and third shots of this par 5, as well as easy access to a number of other greens and grandstands. Return to your vacant chair, a great Masters tradition, to see the players up close in tournament conditions. Follow the players up the 18th to see who will make the cut for the weekend.
Enjoy throughout day and night the southern hospitality of the The Manor, before an evening transfer back to your accommodation.
Saturday 11 April
Today we try to emulate the professionals and play our final round of golf at The River Golf Club. Set along the banks of the Savannah River, The River Golf Club has established itself as one of the best course designs in the Southeast since it's opening in 1998. Designed by internationally acclaimed golf course architect Jim Fazio, The River Golf Club offers a unique setting which includes large Mini-Verde Bermunda grass greens, numerous lakes, wetlands and dramatic bunkers.
Free evening tonight.
Sunday 12 April
Masters Final Round
Arrive at the course early to set your chair close to the 18th green. Enjoy brunch at the The Manor in anticipation of a dramatic climax to the tournament. First players tee off at 10 am, and the final group at approximately 2.30 pm. Be there to see any playoffs back up the 18th hole, and the green jacket ceremony.
Relive and share your memories back at the Manor over drinks and light dinner.
