Main Tour Itinerary - Masters Week
Monday 8 April 2019
Arrive Atlanta Airport and transfer to The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds Golf Resort. This beautiful resort offers five of its own championship golf courses. Tucked away in the natural beauty of towering Georgia oaks, fragrant magnolias, flowering native dogwoods and the pristine waters of Lake Oconee, the resort’s 99 holes of golf are designed by the game’s best known architects, Rees Jones, Jack Nicklaus, Tom Fazio and Bob Cupp.
The resort itself has numerous dining and leisure options, while the surrounding area offers charming antebellum towns, shopping and plenty of the best southern charm and service. Enjoy our Welcome Dinner and drinks.
Tuesday 9 April 2019
Today is our first game of golf at the Tom Fazio-designed The National. Dramatic elevation changes from tee to fairway, large undulating greens, fairways that wind through dense forests of Georgia pines, flowering dogwoods and azaleas and spectacular panoramas of Lake Oconee and the Oconee River Valley are characteristics of this course.
All of the courses we play are enjoyable for both the casual golfer while being extremely challenging for keener players. We will employ sensible tee marker options to allow maximum enjoyment. Range balls and swing tips are included prior to play.
Wednesday 10 April 2019
Par 3 and Practice Day. Players put in final touches to their game to be ready for the main tournament at lunchtime. See the legends of the game, the past champions and your favourites in a relaxed and fun environment playing a Par 3 tournament in the afternoon. The Par 3 course is set around a picturesque lake and is one of the highlights of the week - photos are permitted today, so make sure you bring your camera. Kieran can show you some of the best spectator positions for the play later in the week.
Dinner is included at the Magnolia Club across the road from Augusta National before transferring back to the Reynolds Resort.
Thursday 11 April 2019
Test your own game on the award-winning Cuscowilla Golf Club. A completely different style to the rest of the Reynolds Resort courses, this Ben Crenshaw-designed course will challenge all facets of your game. The course has a feel of Gleneagles Scotland mixed with the traditions of one of the best courses in Georgia.
Lunch at the clubhouse is included after golf, with opening round TV coverage starting at 3pm.
Friday 12 April 2019
Masters 2nd Round
Place your Masters chair on holes 15 and/or 16 and follow the Aussies through Amen corner, as they jockey for a position on the famous leaderboard. Return to your vacant chair, a great Masters tradition, to see the players up close in tournament conditions. Follow the players up the 18th to see who will make the cut for the weekend.
Enjoy throughout day and night the southern hospitality of the Magnolia Club, before an evening transfer back to Reynolds Resort.
Saturday 13 April 2019
Golf at The Oconee Golf Course - a true risk-reward challenge. Golfers are often forced to choose between direct tee shots over inlets of Lake Oconee and long drives down tree-lined dog-leg fairways, presenting a golfing challenge unmatched by any other in the nation. Noted for spectacular par 3s, featuring multiple tee boxes, drop shots from elevated tees and numerous water hazards, the course offers 5 holes in which Lake Oconee comes directly into play, and 4 others tendering magnificant lake views.
Lunch will be included at the clubhouse at the completion of play. Masters TV coverage starts at 3pm.
We will have our presentation dinner tonight, with a highlight being the presentation of the Green Jacket.
Sunday 14 April 2019
