Tuesday 14 July
Stretch those golf muscles with a game today at Dulwich & Sydenham Golf Club, founded in 1894. The course, designed by the great Harry S Colt, is set among mature oaks on the slopes of Sydenham Hill, overlooking Dulwich College, and enjoys a deserved lofty status among the capital’s golfing elite. The course offers thrills and spills aplenty, delivers risk and reward in equal measure and with some of the the trickiest, yet truest, greens in the south of England; the course is a genuine test for low and high handicap golfers.
Optional dinner tonight: we suggest Frenchie Covent Garden Restaurant, renowned chef Gregory Marchand’s London venue.
Wednesday 15 July
Today is a free day where you may choose to visit some of the many sights, relax in your hotel, or take in a show. Our suggestion for dinner is The Oystermen Seafood Bar & Kitchen in Covent Garden.
Thursday 16 July
Golf today is at The International London Golf Club. Fast, undulating fairways allow you to chase the ball into position. The course is punctuated with exciting risk and reward tee shots over water that really get the heart pumping. Home of the 2018 & 2019 Staysure PGA Seniors Championship, The International recently hosted both the Volvo World Match Play and Regional Open Qualifying.
Travel to our home for the next 4 nights, Rowhill Grange Hotel and Utopia Spa, Dartford.
Friday 17 July
Play Prince’s Golf Club today. We will play 2 of the 9 hole courses Shore, Dunes and Himalayas. Prince’s is adjacent to Royal St Georges, and shares many of the same features.
Afterwards we will travel to the famed White Cliffs of Dover to explore the area.
Saturday 18 July
The Saturday tournament round of The Open is our destination. Royal St Georges is hosting for the first time since 2011. The 149th Open will showcase the world's best players as they compete for the Claret Jug. “The Maiden”, the iconic 6th hole, is sure to be a popular spot for spectators.
Sunday 19 July
The Open Final Round
Arrive at the course early to see the final round unfold. Follow your favourite players or watch from one vantage point and see every player come through.
Monday 20 July
