DAY 1 - Wednesday 15 May 2019

Arrive Marseille or Aix-en-Provence TGV

Inform us of your arrival time at either the Aix-en-Provence TGV Station or Marseille Airport, and we will arrange a transfer to your hotel.

Your home for three nights is a four star hotel perfectly located on the edge of Aix-en-Provence centre ville, with Provencal style rooms, an outdoor pool and gym room. The perfect base to start your golf getaway.

After checking in,  put on your walking shoes and walk in the steps of Cézanne and the Roman conquerors on a guided tour of Aix-en-Provence. Our fabulous guide Erin, will acquaint you with the history, culture and cuisine of Aix-en-Provence.

The walking tour  finishes just in time for a rosé on the Cours Mirabeau, the Champs Elysses of Aix.

DAY 2 - Thursday 16 May 2019

Day trip into the Luberon

Today we travel into the heart of the Luberon to visit the delightful Provencal villages of Lourmarin, Rousillon and Fontaine de Vaucluse. Our local guide has so many secrets to share with us, stories to tell and special stops along the way.  Plus we get to lunch like the French at a local favourite.



Truffle Hunt

Immerse yourself in the mysterious world of truffles.  Our entertaining host will tell you all about the secret business of truffles, take you on a real hunt and top you up with unlimited champagne and never ending truffle treats.




DAY 3 - Friday 17 May 2019

18 holes at Golf International de Pont Royal

Golf International de Pont Royal, is the only Seve Ballesteros-designed course in France. It opened in 1992 and is widely-acclaimed for its slick greens and highland holes which offer stunning views of the Luberon and Alpilles mountain ranges. Golf International de Pont Royal is a highlight of this golfing tour. In September 2018 it will host The Open de Provence, on the European Challenge Tour.

An afternoon visit to Chateau La Coste is a real treat. A special place where vineyards, art and architecture come together in perfect harmony with nature. Take the Architecture Walk showcasing fine modern sculpture in the woods, hills, olive groves and vineyards of the estate followed by a private wine tasting.

DAY 4 - Saturday 18 May 2019

Morning Market 

Saturday morning comes alive in Aix with locals and tourists out and about for the weekly market.  The morning is free to shop to your heart's content, have a leisurely drink in a cafe, and make sure you visit Hotel de Caumont.  So much to do, and you have plenty of time to do it.  Grab some lunch before we head to the coast.

Tip:  You will encounter some serious retail therapy.  Leave plenty of room in your suitcase.  

Transfer to Fregate Golf Resort

Head to the practice range or tune up your short game on the 9 hole short course.  Or simply sit by the pool before joining the group for dinner on the terrace.

Day 5 - Sunday 19 May

18 Holes of golf at Fregate Golf Club

Another competitive round of golf with stunning views of the Mediterranean from several holes.  Laid out on cliff tops with breathtaking views, a technical course designed by Ronald Fream.




Afternoon visit to Cassis

Only 25 minutes away lies the charming seaside village of Cassis famous for it's calanques, it's picturesque port and alfresco dining. Weather permitting, we'll take a 1 hour boat trip around the calanques followed by some free time and dinner at a local favourite.

Day 6 - Monday 20 May

Deeper into Provence

Check out and head to the charming  town of St. Remy de Provence for 3 nights in boutique 4 Star Hotel. Just 15 mins further lies Les Baux-de-Provence, boasting one of the prettiest villages in France. Explore this famous village, settle in for a superb lunch at a 2 Star Michelin restaurant,  then stroll down the hill to enjoy the spectacular Art and Music show in an old underground quarry.

Tip:  You might want to walk the courses.  St. Remy is seriously the heart of gastronomy.  Guard the waistline!

Day 7 - Tuesday 21 May

Golf de Servanes

Designed by Thierry Sprecher and Gery Watine, Golf de Servanes is carved out of the Alpilles and totally surrounded by nature.  But don't be fooled by it's beauty, it is a very challenging course.  It is worth noting that this course is the qualifier for the Pont Royal International tournament in September. 

18 hole Single Stableford Competition.   

*Optional afternoon visit to Van Gogh Asylum to admire the large scale reproductions of his most famous paintings on the site where they were inspired.

Evening free or option for dinner.


Day 8 - Wednesday 22 May

Golf Manville

It is market day in St. Remy so a perfect opportunity to enjoy a lazy morning wandering around it.

Afternoon tee off for 18 holes at Golf Manville. Literally embedded in the rocky setting of Les Baux, Manville sits below the famous Chateau de Baux. The 18 hole golf course does not seek to be an English green or an oasis. It is simply part of the landscape.

Day 9 - Thursday 23 May

Guided Tour of Marseille

Relax and enjoy the Provencal scenery on the one hour drive to Marseille. Head out on arrival to explore this dynamic and edgy city with a private guided 1/2 day walking tour. Visit the Mucem, the old district, the port and much more with the mid afternoon free to shop at the popular Les Terrases du Port. Make your own trail around the shorefront or sit in a bar and watch the world go by.

Overnight in four star hotel by the Vieux Port.

Farewell Dinner.

Tour ends with transport to Marseille airport if required.
