Today we travel into the heart of the Luberon to visit the delightful Provencal villages of Lourmarin, Rousillon and Fontaine de Vaucluse. Our local guide has so many secrets to share with us, stories to tell and special stops along the way. Plus we get to lunch like the French at a local favourite.
Immerse yourself in the mysterious world of truffles. Our entertaining host will tell you all about the secret business of truffles, take you on a real hunt and top you up with unlimited champagne and never ending truffle treats.
DAY 3 - Friday 17 May 2019
18 holes at Golf International de Pont Royal
Golf International de Pont Royal, is the only Seve Ballesteros-designed course in France. It opened in 1992 and is widely-acclaimed for its slick greens and highland holes which offer stunning views of the Luberon and Alpilles mountain ranges. Golf International de Pont Royal is a highlight of this golfing tour. In September 2018 it will host The Open de Provence, on the European Challenge Tour.
An afternoon visit to Chateau La Coste is a real treat. A special place where vineyards, art and architecture come together in perfect harmony with nature. Take the Architecture Walk showcasing fine modern sculpture in the woods, hills, olive groves and vineyards of the estate followed by a private wine tasting.
Evening at leisure.
DAY 4 - Saturday 18 May 2019
Saturday morning comes alive in Aix with locals and tourists out and about for the weekly market. The morning is free to shop to your heart's content, have a leisurely drink in a cafe, and make sure you visit Hotel de Caumont. So much to do, and you have plenty of time to do it. Grab some lunch before we head to the coast.
Tip: You will encounter some serious retail therapy. Leave plenty of room in your suitcase.
Transfer to Fregate Golf Resort

Day 5 - Sunday 19 May
18 Holes of golf at Fregate Golf Club
Another competitive round of golf with stunning views of the Mediterranean from several holes. Laid out on cliff tops with breathtaking views, a technical course designed by Ronald Fream.

Tip: You might want to walk the courses. St. Remy is seriously the heart of gastronomy. Guard the waistline!

Day 7 - Tuesday 21 May
Golf de Servanes
Designed by Thierry Sprecher and Gery Watine, Golf de Servanes is carved out of the Alpilles and totally surrounded by nature. But don't be fooled by it's beauty, it is a very challenging course. It is worth noting that this course is the qualifier for the Pont Royal International tournament in September.
18 hole Single Stableford Competition.
*Optional afternoon visit to Van Gogh Asylum to admire the large scale reproductions of his most famous paintings on the site where they were inspired.
Evening free or option for dinner.
Day 8 - Wednesday 22 May
Golf Domaine de Manville
It is market day in St. Remy so a perfect opportunity to enjoy a lazy morning wandering around it before golf in the afternoon.
Literally embedded in the rocky setting of Les Baux, the Domaine de Manville course is new but already timeless. Course elements echo the former agricultural use of the land, geometric bunkers supported by stone walls, fairways bordered like former fields, olive groves and water obstacles. An appealing course with great diversity in the design of each hole.
Evening at leisure.
