General Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions on this page are general and apply to all On The Tee trips. For any additional terms and conditions related to a specific trip, please check the website page for that trip.

The itinerary and prices quoted for any trip may be dependent on a minimum number of participants. Should this number of participants not be attained, the trip may be either: a) cancelled, with a full refund of any monies paid; or b) proceed with a possible change to the itinerary and cost. Neither of these options will be enacted without prior consultation with all committed participants, however the decision made by OTT will be final.

Responsibility

Golf Travel Pty Ltd, trading as On The Tee, On The Tee Travel, Girls On The Tee (herein referred to as OTT) acts only as a booking agent making reservations with companies or associates offering services contained in the trip. While acting in good faith, OTT does not accept any responsibility for default causing loss or injury to person or property whether by negligence or otherwise on the part of the operator or accommodation managers / owners or their employees. It is each participant's responsibility to arrive on time at each scheduled location. Each trip starts and finishes as indicated on the itinerary.

Additional Charges

Additional charges may occur which are outside OTT's control or may be the fault of a member(s) of the tour group. The company will not be responsible for any such additional charges, and retains the right to demand these charges from the participant without reservation if any claim should be made on it by any Supplier.

Exclusions (all unless stated as inclusions in specific trip itineraries)

  • Transport 
  • Meals and drinks 
  • Additional golf games
  • Golf carts, golf club hire, golf equipment or amenities for golfers
  • Tips and personal charges

Supplier Bonds or Deposits

A  supplier may require a bond or credit card imprint to cover items such as mini-bar, food charges, damage etc. The client agrees to provide such bonds or deposits as reasonably requested at the time of collection, booking, check-in or use of the product or service.

Golf Course Renovations or Alterations

Golf course renovations occur at various times of the year as part of normal maintenance. Where possible the group will be advised at the time of final confirmation, however the suppliers reserve the right to amend the date, or may provide OTT with minimum notice. Every endeavour will be made to have the quality of play unaffected.  No refunds will apply.

Special Dietary Requests

Please note that requests for special dietary requirements cannot be guaranteed at all hotels and restaurants, however all measures are taken to appropriately inform each provider of meals in a timely manner.

Deposits

To secure your place on any trip, please complete the appropriate booking form and pay the deposit as indicated on the Book Now page of the website.

Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be provided in writing.  The following cancellation charges apply:

  • deposit forfeited if cancelled prior to required date of final payment
  • cancellations made after the final payment is made: 100% of the package value may be forfeited

Additional cancellation fees are subject to terms and conditions of suppliers, including but not limited to accommodation, restaurants and golf courses.  OTT will always endeavour to recover costs from these suppliers on behalf of any clients who cancel.

Privacy

We understand the importance of protecting the privacy of your personal information. In handling personal information, we comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act), and with the 13 Australian Privacy Principles. We collect, use, disclose, store and otherwise handle your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act. Generally, we will only disclose your personal information with respect to the facilitation of your travel booking. The kinds of personal information we collect include your name, address, telephone number, email address GA handicap and golf club membership. Generally, we will only disclose your personal information to these persons in regard with the facilitation of your travel booking  and/or to enable the performance of administrative and technical services by them on our behalf. You acknowledge that you agree to us collecting, storing, using, disclosing and otherwise handling your personal information for the purposes of making travel reservations on your behalf and/or for any other purpose in accordance with law. We reserve the right to collect visual images of tour participants and to use any such images in our marketing and advertising including social media.  Images will not be tagged or people individually identified.  You may specifically request in writing to have any images of you excluded from such marketing material.

Disclaimer

Items on an itinerary may change due to circumstances beyond our control. Golf courses, restaurants, and accommodation may change subject to availability, but will be replaced by a similar standard of golf course, restaurant or accommodation. The order of days is also subject to change, and times may be amended. OTT will advise of any changes as soon as they are known. OTT is not itself an event or accommodation provider. It acts only as an agent for these providers.
