This picturesque island in the Mediterranean Sea has attracted foreigners since the days of antiquity. Thanks to its warm, sunny climate and its collection of scenic yet challenging golf courses, Mallorca is now considered to be one of the best golfing holiday destinations in Europe.

With beautiful beaches and limestone mountains, Roman and Moorish remains, Mallorca is home to a total of twenty three golf courses!  We have teamed up with local experts to ensure that we have included the best courses the island offers along with some excellent  excursions.

18 Holes at Golf Son Gual "t's a bit like Augusta"  - Ian Woosnam

After a leisurely breakfast we arrive at the championship course, Golf Son Gual, in the heart of Mallorca. A family-owned private golf club, Son Gual is situated on  a gently rolling landscape, reminiscent of a true links course.  Designed by Thomas Himmel, this magnificent course has the look of a Jack Nicklaus layout with some serious water hazards. Olive trees and the estate’s own vineyard frame the course that is attractive to all level of players.  Water hazards along with a good number of bunkers, as well as large greens with subtle breaks are it's main characteristics.

DAY 5 - Monday June 3 2019

18 holes at Golf Son Muntaner

Inaugurated in 2000, this magnificent golf course is a challenging one. Shots require shaping off the tee to reach the ideal position for your second shot, with some approach shots over water to bunkered greens. Today's winning team will undoubtedly be the one displaying accuracy with each shot!  Son Muntaner boasts Mallorca's oldest olive tree - "Sa Capitana". Look out for it near the 15th tee.

Afternoon Boat Trip

After lunch and a challenging morning of golf we head to Port Portals, Mallorca's version of Monaco.  In true style, we board our powerboat for a relaxing cruise along the coast to a beautiful cove where we anchor, allowing plenty of time to swim, snorkel or just soak up the sun.  Refreshments and snacks provided.

Evening at leisure.

Accommodation: Hotel Bendinat.

DAY 6 - Tuesday June 4 2019

Free day.  Golf? Culture? Retail Therapy?

If you still feel you need more golf, take the opportunity to either play Golf de Andratz or one of the other fabulous courses nearby.

Alternatively, take your time exploring Palma, with the massive Santa María cathedral, a Gothic landmark begun in the 13th century, overlooking the Bay of Palma,  or visit the adjacent Almudaina, a Moorish-style Arab fortress converted to a royal residence. In fact, it is the current official residence of the King and Queen of Spain. With so many conquerors, it’s not surprising how many styles are captured within these ancient walls.

If you want to revamp your wardrobe with some retail therapy,  just head to the Festival Park outlet centre nearby with more than 40 shops offering discounts of up 40% on leading brands such as Guess, Asics, Calvin Klein, Desigual, Diesel, Mango, Nike and Vanns.

And of course,  you can always do lunch!

But leave room for our Farewell Dinner on the terrace overlooking the sea.

Accommodation: Hotel Bendinat.
